Programme director: prof.dr. Mladen Franko Programme descriptionThe graduate study programme leads to master's or doctoral degree in science. The syllabus is distinctly interdisciplinary research oriented. The objective of the programme is to educate experts with interdisciplinary knowledge and experience in basic and applied research on environmental phenomena. Since the need for such interdisciplinary studies exists elsewere in Europe and throughout the world, the proposed courses are designed to be internationaly comparable and in conformity with similar courses throughout the world. Lectures and exams are given in English. The study is based on a system that defines the required number of credit for each degree(ECTS). Such organisation allows the exchange of courses from recognised institutions around the world. The School encourages research in domestic and foreign institutions for its students. Admission requirementsThe number of available positions is limited to twenty. Candidates, who want to register as students of the Environmental Sciences graduate study programme must have a Master’s degree from the fields of natural sciences, biotechnology, engineering or medicine or an adequate university degree according to a four years study program from the fields of natural sciences, biotechnology, engineering or medicine, evaluated with 240 credit points.
