The Fundamentals of Environmental Science
Objectives of the course
The Fundamentals of Environmental Science is the obligatory course at the graduate study programme Environmental Sciences. The purpose of the course is to offer the elementary knowledge about interdisciplinary problems regarding pollution and protection of the environment.
Prerequisites
Not required.
Assessment methods
Written examination.
Course contents
The course covers the following topics: environment, earth as a system, life and environment, protection of life resources, energy, aquatic environment, air pollution, environment and society.
