Programme description

Undergraduate study programme Environment offers courses and practical training in all the major fields of environmental sciences, such as water, soil and air pollution and their chemical, physical and biological effects, ecotoxicology, health aspects of environmental pollution, waste treatment and concenquences of waste disposal, measurement techniques for determining and monitoring pollution, environmental impact assesment, environmental sociology, psychology, economics and law. The objective of the study programme is to educate experts, capable of working on multidisciplinaty projects, concerning environment in industrial, legislative, executive and research fields on the local, national and international level.

Access to further studies

Graduates can enter post-graduate programmes of Master of Environmental Science (MSc) and Doctor of Environmental Science (PhD), and other post-graduate programmes, according to the requirements issued by the respective institution of higher education in the pre-enrolment announcement for undergraduate and post-graduate study programmes.

Examination and assessment regulations

Knowledge is assessed by written examinations, oral examinations, colloquiums and seminar papers.
