Modern trends in molecular biology and biotechnology II
Objectives of the course
A series of scientific seminars are given by invited scientists, selected among the specialists in the different fields of molecular biology and biotechnology. The student has to attend to 24 seminars.
Additionally, a total of 10 Journal Clubs will be distributed throughout the year and will be chaired by different ICGEB Group Leaders.
All PhD students will have to read the selected literature in order to allow an open discussion among all participants. The paper(s) selected for the discussion could be either related to one of the ICGEB Seminar or selected among the most interesting papers recently published, on a subject chosen by the Group Leader responsible for the Journal Club.

Course contents
Recent advances in molecular biology and biotechnology are presented through a series of seminars on latest publications in scientific literature and research results by students and distinguished invited speakers.
